Ken Rada will be here Monday October 3rd and Tuesday October 4th for picture day. Ms. Jena’s class will have their pictures on Monday and Ms. Mary’s class will have their pictures on Tuesday. You may go to kenrada.com to view the photo’s, it takes about 2 days for him to have the photo’s online.

We are off to a great start. The children are enjoying their new friends. Our 4 year olds love Spanish and are having fun learning new Spanish words.
Pizza day was a big hit, even the children in the 18 to 24 month room were saying, PIZZA PIZZA!
Mother Goose will visit us on September 26 & 27.
We are all enjoying all of our new friends and fall excitement is in the air.

Welcome back! Our Parent Meeting will be held on August 29, 2011 @ 7:00 in the Chapel. The following day, August 30, 2011 we are excited to have our Student Open House. The students will meet new friends and their Teachers. We are mailing a welcome letter on August 1st. Please contact the office if you do not receive this letter.

Dear Preschool friends,

Summertime is such a wonderful time to spend time with your family and friends. I use to love packing a picnic lunch and spending the day at the pool with my children. Reading a book in a tent with a flashlight in the backyard was always exciting as well.

Enjoy your summer, be safe and eat lots of watermelon, tomatoes and ice cream.

TRIKE-A-THON 2011
Our annual Trike-A-Thon will be held this year on Monday April 18th and Tuesday April 19th. This is our only fundraiser of the year. All money raised will be used for new educational materials including die cut templates, manipulatives and learning aids. The children will need to bring trikes, bikes, riding toys and safety helmets. Safety helmets are mandatory. Please make sure all equipment is labeled with your child’s name.
We are challenging everyone to help us reach our goal of $10,000. The classroom raising the highest amount per child receives a Pizza and Ice Cream Party.
In addition to a classroom prize, there will be great prizes for the three families who raise the most money: 1) one month free tuition 2) $100 Target gift card 3) $50 Target gift card.
This event is a fabulous, fun event for the children. We invite you to come watch the children as they ride. There are also plenty of opportunities to help with this event. Wednesday and Thursday CTK Teachers were treated to a “Stars” Luncheon. The Parents cooked and served a delicious lunch. It was “Souper”.

Thank you to all the parents that volunteered to cook, clean, provide food, organize and stayed in the classrooms with the children.
